The perfect balance of state-of-the-art technology and a friendly, comfortable environment.
If you have broken or chipped teeth, your dentist may suggest composite (cosmetic) bonding. This simple procedure can also be used to adjust the shape or colour of an unattractive tooth or close smaller gaps between teeth.
We also offer composite veneers as a more cost-effective alternative to porcelain veneers. Your dentist will be happy to discuss the different options with you.
During your cosmetic bonding treatment your dentist will select a resin colour to closely match your natural teeth. They will then create a rough surface on your tooth, and apply the bonding agent.
Once the resin has been moulded to the required shape, it will be hardened with a specialist light.
This easy, versatile treatment can help restore your confidence in your smile.
Other advantages of cosmetic bonding include:
Composite bonding is completely pain-free in most cases as the work only involves the surface of a tooth. Your dentist will only need to use anaesthetic if a cavity is being repaired or if additional tooth reshaping is required.
It takes between 30 and 60 minutes to bond a single tooth, and the procedure can be completed in one appointment. If you require bonding to several teeth, you may need to make additional appointments.
Composite bonding is a non-invasive procedure and you will be able to continue your day as usual following your treatment, including working and driving.
You may experience some sensitivity for the first few days. Avoiding food and drink with extreme temperatures, and taking home pain medication can help with this.
You should care for your bonded teeth in the same way as your natural ones. Brush them at least twice a day, use dental floss, and visit our dental hygienist for regular appointments.
Avoiding coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco can also help keep your newly bonded teeth free from staining.

"I went to Stuart for a full set of dentures. Right from the start he was great – really friendly and approachable. I was petrified beforehand but he made me feel really at ease. The whole environment was really relaxed and unstuffy. I felt confident to put my trust in him. I lost my teeth when I was 23 and I’m 47 now. It’s the best set I’ve ever had. No-one could tell I’d got false teeth. I love what he’s done for me."
"I had almost a full dental reconstruction. The treatment was professional. Stuart listened to what I wanted, always worked with me, and included me in the decision making. He was contactable throughout, and very personable. I felt like I was a friend rather than a client. An excellent experience all-round.”
"I found Stuart to be dedicated and professional with high standards and only dealing in quality products. He was present every step of the way, from conception to the finished job, and gave me excellent and easy to understand advice in a relaxed and unhurried manner. My Implant was fitted with surgical standards in a bright, clean, relaxed and warm environment. The implant was well matched to the rest of my teeth and looks totally natural. The aftercare service was also first class. I can recommend Stuart’s services without hesitation.”
