How long will my ClearCorrect treatment take?

The time it takes to straighten your teeth using ClearCorrect aligners will depend on several factors. Your dentist will discuss treatment goals with you but spending too much time with your aligners removed or missing appointments can increase the duration of the treatment.

How many hours a day will I need to wear my ClearCorrect aligners?

In order to achieve the best and quickest results we recommend you wear your aligners for 22 hours each day. You can remove them for meals and cleaning but it’s worth remembering that even short times without your aligners will slow and perhaps even reverse the corrective process.

How comfortable are ClearCorrect aligners to wear?

Whichever orthodontic treatment you choose, you are likely to feel a small degree of discomfort for the first few days using a new aligner. This can be treated with home pain killers and, provided you keep your aligners in, should quickly subside.

How do I need to look after my ClearCorrect aligners?

A good oral hygiene routine will help protect your teeth during your ClearCorrect treatment. Remove your aligners regularly for cleaning, and make sure you brush and floss your teeth as usual.
